Organizational Architecture is pleased to announce that we will participate in the upcoming PSHRA Northern Ohio Public Sector HR Conference on July 9 in Independence, Ohio.
Mark Fiala, President of Organizational Architecture, will present a breakout session titled Using Job Descriptions and Competencies as Leadership Tools.
Job descriptions and competencies are often viewed as administrative documents, but they can be much more than that. When thoughtfully developed and consistently used, they can help public sector leaders clarify expectations, strengthen accountability, support employee development, and improve performance management. Mark’s session will discuss how these tools can connect day-to-day work with organizational priorities while giving supervisors a more practical framework for coaching, feedback, and decision-making.
This topic aligns closely with the work Organizational Architecture does with public sector, nonprofit, library, and other organizations. We help clients strengthen their human resources infrastructure through job description updates, competency development, performance management, organizational design, leadership development, compensation consulting, recruiting, and related workforce strategy services.
We look forward to joining public sector HR colleagues for a day of learning, discussion, and practical strategies for preparing organizations for what comes next. Reach out at markfiala@oahumanresources.com or 216.586.4762 to say hello.
